The SGA Project

The Substantial Gainful Activity (SGA) Project is a national center that builds the capacity of the public Vocational Rehabilitation (VR) program to improve employment outcomes for individuals with disabilities receiving SSDI benefits.  This is achieved through providing state VR agencies and others working in this area with:

• A rigorously examined service-delivery model
• Training and manuals for implementation strategies
• On-demand technical assistance

The SGA Project is closely linked with the Vocational Rehabilitation - Rehabilitation Research and Training Center (VR-RRTC), the VR-RRTC on Demand-Side Strategies and the Research and Technical Assistance Center (RTAC) on VR Program Management.
